Transitions

This blog is dedicated to providing insight and support to people who are interested in or are currently going through a transition, whether it be a change in your career or life. Through my job and coaching practice, I have seen some of the challenges people face when they are trying change their job or life. Some don't know where to begin, others get stuck when they face an obstacle and many don't know what they want. While the circumstances can vary, the transition process more often than not has common elements. The key is knowing where in the transition process you are and how to move to the next phase.

In subsequent posts, I will discuss the transition process and review a series of tools you can use to help you successfully make a transition. I will also share my own experiences, identify useful resources and provide links to helpful background reading.

Over time, I hope you'll comment on what I'm writing, share your own experiences, ask questions you would like answered and suggest topics you would like to be addressed.

  1. I used to attend the Reed College AEC (Atomic Energy Commission) hearings on nuclear power generation in the early 1970s.

It now seems that I have more scholastic qualifications than the majority of the 'Czars' in the current federal administration.

Of course, as it happens, most of the people in my resume are deceased.

My question is simply this, Elaine: Can I elevate my position as a Regional Oregon Comptroller to, say, a Federal Oregon Comptroller of Funds without irritating anyone?
